Flowers in the Sky

In Japanese, Fireworks are known as "Hanabi", which literally means "Flower Fire". They do look like flowers blooming in the sky, don't they? Though transient, Fireworks are mesmerizing to watch and their loud booms drown out our busy thoughts. It is probably one of the very few times we get to actually feel the present.
